Everybody is Talking About…‘The New Kid in Town!’

The ITSM community has been well-served for many decades. We know because Pink Elephant played the leading role on the world stage starting the IT service management revolution in the late ‘80s and, until last year, supported and contributed to the various versions of multiple frameworks.

But today, and with changing times and changing players, Pink has partnered exclusively with Professional Designations (PDC) to develop what we believe to be a very practical and real-world body of knowledge for ITSM professionals – ‘integratedITSM™’.  The teachings of this new body of knowledge are based on our consultants’ many decades of helping CIOs and IT practitioners and yes, even tool vendors, implement real-world solutions, not theory.

There are currently a variety of well-established and widely adopted ITSM frameworks, some of which have been around for a long time.

On the other hand, integratedITSM™ represents a relatively fresh approach that is gaining increased attention in the industry. Like a new kid in town, it brings excitement and potential disruption to the established order. We feel that this new body of knowledge offers innovative ideas and perspectives. It brings new approaches to managing IT services and addressing organizational needs.

If you are one of the organizations that have moved on to look at other ITSM options, we believe we have much more practical implementation guidance and ITSM content to offer you. So, for those of you who have told us “What we’ve been using up to now doesn’t work for us anymore,” come along and meet the new kid in town, and experience…

  • An innovative and different approach to acquiring professional certifications and designations
  • A wealth of practical, real-world content in the core courses
  • In-depth operational guidance while still providing direct links to the bigger picture of business value
  • Content and examples of process management in real-world scenarios
  • An ‘integrated’ perspective that includes easy-to-describe and tangible relationships between ITSM and the key enablers of Lean, Agile, DevOps, OCM, and BRM
  • No mandatory first course to take in the certification scheme
  • No recertification requirements

How lucky is the ITSM community to have choices! We believe this alternative ITSM approach warrants serious consideration and comparison with whatever else you’ve been using, and more importantly, we believe it provides excellent value for your training investment. When you compare, like for like, we think you’ll choose the new offerings from Pink Elephant and PDC.

However, Integrated IT Business Management presents a relatively novel approach that is garnering growing interest within the industry. Similar to a newcomer in town, it injects excitement and the potential for disruption into the existing framework. We believe this emerging field of expertise offers fresh ideas and perspectives, introducing novel methods for overseeing IT services and meeting organizational requirements.
